Eastwell Mews Terms and Conditions

Rates are subject to change without advance notice Acceptance of your booking is conditional upon:

1. The Booking Form must be signed by the person who is responsible for the reservation and who must be 18 years old or over.
2. A 50% non-refundable deposit must be paid to Eastwell Manor Limited (hereinafter known as ‘the Company’) to secure the reservation.
3. The balance must be settled upon departure along with any extra charges incurred in the duration of your stay.
4. In the event of a cancellation after the 50% initial payment has been made but before the balance becomes due, a refund may be made if the accommodation is re-let. There will be a management fee of £100 in the event of any repayment being made.
5. Any cancellation within the 21 day period prior to the letting commencing will result in the initial payment being forfeited and the balance becomes due and payable, although a refund of the second instalment will be made if a re-letting takes place, subject to a management charge of £100.
6. The Company reserves the right to decline a booking for any reason at its absolute discretion.
7. The Company also reserves the right to terminate any letting if it has reason to believe that the continued occupation of the Cottage or Apartment may be detrimental to the well being of other occupants at Eastwell Mews or detrimental to the business interests of the Company.
8. No refunds will be given if the occupation is terminated under 7 above or if the occupant decides upon early departure.
9. In the unforeseen event of an unauthorised extension of occupancy, then the automatic charge incurred will be twice the weekly rate of the cottage concerned. This charge is incurred for any part of a week without prejudice to the Company’s rights to recover possession.
10. Inventory: The hirer is requested to check the inventory on arrival and to advise reception at Eastwell Manor or any shortcomings so that the position can be rectified.
11. Pets: Only one well behaved dog will be permitted, provided it is kept on a lead at all times when in the grounds of Eastwell Manor. Dogs will not be permitted in the swimming pool enclosure.
12. Guests will have access to a small launderette within Eastwell Mews. The drying or airing of clothes outside the cottage is not permitted. 12a No cooking of food will be permitted outside the cottage kitchen, ie. barbecues.
13. Swimming Pools: a Guests are entitled to free use of our outdoor heated swimming pool which is open from 7.30am until dusk during the summer months and our indoor heated swimming pool which is located in The Pavilion. Towels for use in the swimming pools can be obtained from The Pavilion reception and residents are asked not to use the towels that are provided in the cottage. b Only persons included in the hiring agreement may use the swimming pools. c There is no lifeguard on duty. For reasons of safety, children of 16 years and under must be accompanied by a capable adult. Please note that children aged between 3 and 16 are only permitted to use the indoor pool between 9.30am - 10.30am and 4.00pm - 5.00pm. Children under 16 may not use the therapy pool, sauna, steam room, gymnasium or Silks Lounge. Children under 3 may not use the indoor pool d Diving is not permitted. e Ball games are not permitted in the pool areas.
14. No liability can be accepted by the Company or its servants for any loss or injury which may be sustained to persons or property in connection with the hiring of a cottage at Eastwell Mews.
15. Arrivals and departures are only registered at the Reception Office of Eastwell Manor.
